The Concept:
Impact oriented projects. That is what donor agencies are looking for today. Many project proposals are rejected because it is not impact orientated. Many implemented projects are a failure, due to lack of impact. But how do we measure and assess these impacts in our projects. Do we have any criteria to measure the impact? Can impacts be quantified and qualified? Yes designing appropriate output, outcome and impact indicators while planning and designing your projects will solve this problem.
Course Content:
- Designing a monitoring & evaluation plan
- Use & role of indicators in monitoring
- Levels of monitoring and types of indicators
- Logical criteria for designing and developing Indicators
Expected Outcome: By the end of the programme, participants will know how to develop meaningful indicators appropriate to various levels of monitoring for effective and efficient project monitoring.
Training Methodology: This programme will be done online, using Google Meet, Individual interaction will be done when possible and participants will share their thoughts and reflections through the chat-box. At the end of the programme copy of the presentations as well as background learning materials will be shared with the participants along with E-Certificate of Participation.

Resource Person: Dr. Tom Jose is a Post Graduate in Social work(MSW), with over 28 years of experience in training as well as direct implementation of Social Development Project. He has been guiding NGO personnel in planning, implementing, monitoring & evaluating development initiatives.
Intake & Participant Profile: 20-25 NGO delegates who are project and programme managers, members of project planning team, M&E officers and those in charge of implementing and monitoring development projects.
