Impact measurement in humanitarian aid: cash and protection

VENRO

The training is the third part of a VENRO-series “Impact measurement in humanitarian assistance”.

Humanitarian stakeholders increasingly integrate cash based assistance in their programmes. Using this kind of modality, they have to make sure that protection of the affected population is guaranteed during the implementation. An effective monitoring system that includes protection risks is essential when it comes to cash and protection.

VENRO would like to invite you to the two-day training "Impact measurement in humanitarian aid: cash and protection" on 13-14 May 2019 in Bonn, Haus Venusberg, Haager Weg 28-30. The training will be held in English language. It addresses project managers working with German hu-manitarian NGOs that are responsible for monitoring, cash and/or protection programming.

Joanna Friedman and Maren Platzmann will be the facilitators of the workshop. Joanna is a human-itarian consultant specialized in the intersection of cash and protection programming, livelihoods and resilience. Maren is an emergency cash specialist. She has developed cash transfer programming guidance for NGOs and UN agencies in different settings.

The detailed programme can be found here.

Please register online until 8 May 2019. Participation is free of charge. Travel costs and overnight stays have to be covered by the participants.
