What?
Capacity Development (CD) is a core element of North-South civil society partnerships. In challenging times for international development politics many wonder how CD can be better utilized in times of decreasing public funding. In particular, many practitioners are curious about emerging trends in CD and how CD can be made more flexible, more participatory and ultimately more equitable in order to deliver better results.
In this workshop we will – for the first time – present a new VENRO study on Capacity Development that addresses this question and discuss the experiences of practitioners from other NGOs.
We have one workshop for staff from Global South NGOs on March 18th and one for staff from Global North NGOs on March 19th.
We will share the results of both workshops as well as our publication with all participants afterwards.
