We are pleased to invite you to an online webtalk on: “Building Peace Through Feminist Dialogue – Insights from Colombia”. The Colombian peace agreement is widely regarded as an international model for the inclusion of marginalized populations and for the meaningful participation of women. It is the first peace agreement worldwide to effectively integrate a gender-sensitive approach and is among the most progressive in recognizing the rights of women and LGBTIQ+ movements.
In our NGO report Imagine (2025), we featured the article “Feminist Dialogues on the Road to Peace” (CIASE and Johanniter). Rosa Emilia Salamanca (Executive Director, CIASE) will provide a more in-depth input on her work applying feminist approaches to peacebuilding. She will share insights from her long-standing engagement in conflict and post-conflict contexts, highlighting how feminist methodologies can shape more inclusive, participatory, and transformative peace processes. We are pleased to present this work and exchange best practices with you.
