Target group
The training is targeted at staff of humanitarian NGOs with several years of professional experience and an interest in the environment.
Format
The seminar consists of three half-day sessions. The sessions will be in English.
Session 1: Wednesday, 6 December 2023 (1 pm to 6 pm CET)
Session 2: Thursday, 7 December 2023 (1 pm to 6 pm CET)
Session 3: Friday, 8 December 2023 (1 pm to 6 pm CET)
This Training is part of a joint program by IFHV and VENRO and is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
Facilitators
The seminar will be facilitated by Andrea Dekrout, an environmentalist with over 15 years of experience in development and humanitarian settings, Caroline Gardestedt, an Environmental Advisor in the security sector for the European Union in Georgia, and Gavin Reynolds, who worked for the Freshwater Ecosystems Unit at UNEP.
