We will discuss the following questions:
- What is the current status on localisation in the participating organisations?
- Which expectations on localisation do different NGOs have?
- What kind of role would they like to play in the future?
- What are possible topics for further exchange on localisation?
- What are enablers for localisation?
- What are internal and external barriers for localisation?
- How to address them?
Target group
The seminar is designed for staff of German and local/national humanitarian NGOs that are familiar with the discussion on locally-led humanitarian action in general and about the status quo on localisation within their organisations. We kindly ask German NGO colleagues to forward this invitation to their local and national partner organisations.

Format
The seminar consists of two half-day sessions. The sessions will be in English. Participation is free of charge.
Session 1: Thursday, 23 March 2023, 11.00 am – 3.00 pm CET
Session 2: Thursday, 30 March 2023, 11.00 am – 3.00 pm CET
