Many NGOs work with their partner organisations on advocacy to bring about lasting change. However, how do we actually monitor and evaluate our advocacy work? The training will tackle this question with the esteemed expert, Sarah Rose.
Introductory Session on 15 January 2024
Please join us for an hour to explore some of the key themes and questions that will come up during the Advocacy Monitoring and Evaluation training day. This will be an opportunity to get to know each other, explore the value of M&E for advocacy and the value of advocacy for development and programming. There will be a chance for you to pose your questions to our trainer.
Training Day 1: Training on Advocacy M&E on 23 January 2024
You will get an overview of the basics of advocacy M&E including the unique challenges, how to plan for advocacy, how to set indicators and data collection. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to discuss and share what that means in your unique organisational cultural context (whether big or small) and to connect and exchange ideas.
Training Day 2: Learning and Exchange Dialogue on 24 January 2024
You will have an opportunity to hear examples, discuss these and apply them to your own work. In addition, we will talk about how to take this forward and what is most useful as a next step and what this may mean for donor influencing.
