In this last workshop of Civil7 2022, we would like to take a look back and evaluate the German presidency as well as look forward to this year’s Japanese presidency.
Civil7 2022 conducted a study among civil society actors worldwide together with the Allensbach Institute. The aim was, first, to explore the importance and role of the G7 from the perspective of global civil society and second, to determine how successful the C7 process was in the view of civil society organizations and whether they consider the G7's involvement of civil society as successful. In the first part of the event we will present and discuss the results of the study.
In the second part, Civil7 2023 will give an overview of the process towards the Hiroshima Summit. Special focus will be on the work of the Working Groups and how to get involved in the process.
It is an interactive workshop with room for Q&A and discussion. We would like to encourage all interested civil society actors to join!
