  • Policy contents and keeping policies up-to-date
  • Target groups of safeguarding policies
  • How to design safeguarding roles and responsibilities for humanitarian teams
  • How to operationalise safeguarding policies
  • How to monitor the implementation of safeguarding policies and commitments
  • How to motivate employees to implement safeguarding commitments

Pre-reading materials

Participants must complete modules 1 and 2 of the e-learning before the start of the training.

The e-learning is available online (https://safeguardingsupporthub.org/learning) and offline (https://safeguardingsupporthub.org/documents/rsh-e-learning-offline-safeguarding-matters) in English, French, Amharic, Swahili, Hausa and Arabic.

The training is targeted at experienced staff of German and local/national humanitarian NGOs responsible for PSEAH or managers responsible for the implementation of policies.
