Bei der Herbsttagung von IWF und Weltbank im Oktober 2025 haben Brasilien, Spanien und Chile noch einmal ihre Unterstützung für die Besteuerung von extremem Reichtum ausgedrückt. Vom 10. bis 19. November 2025 gehen die Verhandlungen zur UN-Steuerkonvention in Nairobi in die zweite Runde. Gemeinsam mit Expert*innen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Partner*innen aus dem Globalen Süden wollen wir eine Zwischenbilanz ziehen. Dazu laden wir Sie herzlich ein.

From Washington to Nairobi: New Impulses for the Global Tax and Finance Systems
At the IMF and World Bank Autumn Meetings in October 2025, Brazil, Spain, and Chile once again expressed their support for the taxation of extreme wealth. From 10 to 19 November 2025, negotiations on the UN tax convention will enter their second round in Nairobi.
