VENRO would like to invite you to the webinar „Local perspectives on localisation“ on 28 November 2019 from 10 am to 11 am CET.
During the webinar, Hero Anwar Brzw (REACH Iraq) and Sindhy B. Obias (ACCORD Philippines) will give an insight into their perspectives on the localisation debate. They will discuss the meaning of localisation for their own organisations and share their ideas for future roles of local and international NGOs.
Hero Anwar Brzw is the Deputy Country Director of the Iraqi NGO REACH (Rehabilitation, Education And Community Health) that focuses on WASH, livelihood, cash and protection. Hero represents REACH at Charter For Change (C4C) and Grand Bargain Localization Workstream. Sindhy B. Obias is the executive director of ACCORD, a Philippine NGO working on disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, food security, and local governance.
