Effective whistleblowing systems and complaint mechanisms can help to identify problems and misconduct in organisations at an early stage. Therefore, they play an important role in the protection from sexual exploitation and abuse. Participants will get a step-by-step introduction how to structure and implement effective complaint mechanisms for cases of sexual exploitation and abuse.
The online seminar is aimed at employees of development and humanitarian aid NGOs who wish to gain a basic understanding of complaint mechanisms or are planning to set up a complaint mechanism within their organisation.
Luise Ammerschuber, editor of the handbook „Complaint Mechanisms for Non-Governmental Organizations“, will facilitate the online session. She has conducted integrity and compliance management workshops worldwide since 2014, including on the topic of complaint mechanisms.
